Evangelism: Teaching and Training
LEM provides individual bible study programs for groups, churches and teaches in the public schools of Liberia.
Through generous donations, the ministers in Liberia now use 26 bicycles, a pickup truck and an 18-passenger van to make their way throughout the country. Those who have been saved have found tremendous support from LEM to help them grow in the Spirit and in their walk with Christ. LEM provides ongoing counseling, discipleship and materials.
LEM has designed a 72,000 square foot, two-storey Multi-Purpose Education Center to serve as a main resource center. It is expected to be completed in four phases with estimated cost for labor and materials of $450,000. The Center will house a chapel, a guest house, a medical clinic, a Christian Academy, Bible and Vocational Institutes, conference rooms, counseling and recreational resources and administrative offices.
Phase One of construction for the Multi-purpose Education Center began on February 2006, when 10 acres of land were cleared. And groundbreaking for the education building was June 14, 2008. The foundation was completed late in 2008. The Bible and Vocational Institutes and administrative offices are expected to be completed in Phase One.
Phase Two will include the chapel or auditorium for larger church services, a library and classrooms.
In Phase Three, the Christian Academy, toilet/shower facilities and recreational facilities are expected to be completed.
The final Phase Four projects include the Outreach Clinic, counseling and conference facilities and final landscaping.
